At Clara E. Westropp, we believe every scholar can excel through a rigorous, standards-based curriculum that challenges and inspires. Our approach integrates the arts into daily learning, fostering creativity and critical thinking while addressing the social-emotional needs of each student.

We are committed to ensuring academic excellence so every CMSD scholar can thrive. Our rigorous curriculum, combined with real-world applications and the integration of the arts, prepares students for high school, college pathways, and future careers. We focus on developing well-rounded scholars who are ready for success beyond the classroom and equipped with the skills needed for a lifetime of learning.

Our scholars are critical thinkers, artists, problem solvers, leaders, and active community members—prepared to reach their highest potential and confidently navigate opportunities ahead.

Our strength comes from a deeply engaged community—families, the Westropp team, and our valued partnerships—working together to support every child’s growth. Through collaboration and connection, we create an environment where scholars feel supported socially, emotionally, and academically.

Clara E. Westropp offers a wide range of engaging activities that enrich learning and build community, including Basketball, Volleyball, We Run This City, Disney Musicals, Band, and House Teams. These experiences promote teamwork, leadership, and personal growth both during and beyond the school day.
